Description

Stagg Barrel Pick is a powerful cask strength Kentucky Straight Bourbon selected from individual barrels to showcase the bold, unfiltered character that defines the Stagg name. Bottled at 132.4 proof (66.2% ABV), this barrel pick delivers intense flavor, deep richness, and the raw complexity that bourbon enthusiasts seek from high-proof releases.

Produced at the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, Stagg bourbon is known for its long aging and uncompromising strength. Each barrel pick represents a unique selection, chosen for its exceptional balance of sweetness, spice, and oak influence. Because it is bottled directly from the barrel without dilution or chill filtration, every release preserves the full character developed during years of maturation.

The high proof amplifies the bourbon’s layered profile, offering a bold yet refined experience with remarkable depth and a long, warming finish. Stagg Barrel Picks are highly sought after by collectors and whiskey enthusiasts due to their limited availability and distinctive barrel-specific character.

This expression is best enjoyed neat, with a few drops of water to open up the aromas, or slowly sipped to appreciate its rich complexity and full-bodied structure.

About Stagg

Named after George T. Stagg, the man who built the most dominant American distillery of the 19th century, this brand is the "junior" powerhouse to the legendary George T. Stagg of the Antique Collection. Produced at the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, Stagg is made from the same Mash Bill #1 (low rye) as Eagle Rare and Buffalo Trace. However, Stagg is left uncut by water and unfiltered, aged for approximately 8 to 9 years to achieve a "beast mode" profile that has made it a global cult favorite.
