This innovative expression is matured in seven distinct types of oak casks: American white oak ex-bourbon barrels and six different French oak casks, including Limousin, Tronçais, Allier, Vosges, Jupilles, and Les Bertranges. Each cask imparts unique characteristics to the whisky during maturation, resulting in a multi-dimensional spirit shaped by a blend of forest terroirs. Crafted at the Jura Distillery, which uses tall stills and a lightly peated spirit base, the whisky is carefully vatted to create balance and complexity without chill-filtration.
