Horse Soldier Bourbon was founded by a group of former U.S. Army Green Berets, known as the “Horse Soldiers,” who were among the first Special Forces deployed into Afghanistan on horseback after 9/11. Their story is one of courage, resilience, and brotherhood — and those same values are at the heart of everything they create.

Determined to bring that spirit into a new craft, the founders immersed themselves in the art of whiskey-making, studying traditional distillation methods in both Kentucky and abroad. Each bottle of Horse Soldier Bourbon is molded using steel recovered from the World Trade Center site, turning every piece into a symbol of honor and remembrance.
