About Blanton's

The Pioneer of Single Barrel: Launched in 1984 under the guidance of Master Distiller Elmer T. Lee, Blanton’s was the first modern single-barrel bourbon ever marketed. It was named after Colonel Albert B. Blanton, who formerly ran the distillery and famously reserved "honey barrels" from the center of Warehouse H for his private guests.

The Gold Standard: The Gold Edition was originally created exclusively for the international market and travel retail. It is a premium version of the original Single Barrel, featuring a higher proof and a more refined selection process.

The Stopper Tradition: Each bottle features one of eight different collectors' stoppers. When placed in order, they depict the various stages of a horse race, from the starting gate to the finish line. This set guarantees all eight letters, a feat that usually takes years of hunting to complete.
