Benriach 10 Year Old, The Original Ten

The Benriach 10 Year Old, known as The Original Ten, exemplifies the distillerys signature smooth and multi-layered character. This Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky is matured for at least a decade in a combination of bourbon barrels, sherry casks, and virgin oak. This triple cask maturation imparts layers of luscious orchard fruits, honeyed malt, and toasted oak, all subtly interwoven with a trace of smoke. On the nose, it presents rich orchard fruit aromas complemented by honey and toasted oak. The palate reveals ripe pear, nectarine, and malt sweetness, finishing with notes of almond and spiced vanilla. The whisky boasts a natural cask-imparted color and an ABV of 43%. Its an excellent introduction to Benriachs richly layered Speyside single malts.
